Generate Report: A Written Family Report (PDF)
Turn your genogram into a written PDF report, generation by generation, with optional AI clinical insights and anonymized names.
Generate Report (Pro) turns the people and relationships in your genogram into a written PDF: a family summary followed by a section for each generation, oldest first. It's useful for case notes, assignments and case presentations.
Create a report
- Open the File menu (GenogramAI logo, top left) and choose Generate Report.
- The Generate Family Report window shows a preview and options.
- Choose your options, then click Export as PDF. The PDF downloads to your computer.
What's in the report
- A summary with the number of family members and generations
- For each person: birth and death, cause of death, occupation, education, religion, heritage, location and medical conditions, where recorded
- Each person's parents, partners (with the relationship, such as Married, Divorced or Cohabiting) and children
Options
- AI Insights: adds a clinical analysis section based on the McGoldrick framework. Generating it takes a little longer.
- Anonymize names: replaces names with family roles, for case presentations.
- Hide date and Hide branding.
On the Free plan you can open the window and see the preview; the button offers the upgrade instead of exporting.
