Clinical Mode: Keep Client Genograms on Your Device

About this lesson

Clinical mode, on the GenogramAI Clinical plan, keeps client genograms in your browser, encrypted with AES-256, instead of in the cloud. See how to turn it on in Settings, how the editor confirms data is stored locally only, how names and personal details are removed before the AI sees them, the backup reminder when you leave, and the On this device list with backup and restore. Clearing the browser's data erases local files, so keep a backup. The Clinical plan is HIPAA-ready.

Transcript

Clinical mode keeps a client's genogram on your own device, encrypted, instead of in the cloud. It's part of the Clinical plan.

Open Settings, and choose Clinical. Files are stored only in this browser, encrypted with AES-256, and nothing is sent to our servers.

Turn Clinical mode on. Now start a genogram as usual: name the person, and create it. The banner at the top confirms the data is stored locally only.

If you use the AI assistant, names and personal details are removed before the AI sees them. When you leave the editor, you're reminded to download a backup.

Genograms and eco-maps made in Clinical mode are listed under On this device, with backup and restore. Clearing this browser's data erases them, so keep a backup.

The Clinical plan is HIPAA-ready. Learn more at genogramai.com.
