Research View: Sources for Every Fact on a Genogram
About this lesson
Research view (Clinical plan) lets you attach sources to every date, place and relationship on a genogram and see what's proven. Turn it on in Settings > Research (Show Research view in the toolbar), switch it on for a genogram, follow Still to prove and Next unproven, and add a source with its type and confidence level. Facts below your proven level are drawn faded, and the progress count shows the work left.
Transcript
Research view lets you attach a source to every fact on a genogram, and see at a glance what's proven and what still needs checking. It's part of the Clinical plan.
In Settings, open Research, and turn on Show Research view in the toolbar. Now open a genogram, and click the Research view button. Switch it on.
Every date, place and relationship becomes a fact to prove, and anything without a source is drawn faded. The panel shows your progress and what's still to prove.
Click Next unproven to jump to the first one. Robert's death year has no source yet. Click Add source.
Name the record, choose its type, and say how sure you are. A death certificate counts as proven. Add the evidence, and the fact is proven.
The count goes up, and the date is no longer faded. Research view is on the Clinical plan. Learn more at genogramai.com.
