Freeform Genograms in Your Own Notation (Beta)

About this lesson

Freeform (beta) is a genogram canvas where you choose the notation. Describe the family and your rules in plain words, such as green circles for women, blue squares for men and a purple dashed line for estranged, and the AI draws it that way with a legend. Your design rules are saved with the file and followed on every request. You can also start blank or use Recreate my notation to rebuild a hand-drawn map from a photo.

Transcript

Freeform is a genogram canvas where you choose the notation: your own symbols, line styles and colors. On the dashboard, open the Freeform tab.

It's in beta, on the paid plans. Start from a blank canvas, create with AI, or use Recreate my notation to rebuild a hand-drawn map from a photo.

Let's create with AI. Describe the family and your rules in plain words. Here, women are green circles, men are blue squares,

and a purple dashed line means estranged. Send it. The AI reads your rules first, then builds the family,

and styles every symbol and line the way you asked. There it is, with a legend for your rules. The AI saves your design rules with the file and follows them on every request.

You can read or edit them any time. Freeform is on the Pro and Clinical plans. Learn more at genogramai.com.
